But it wasn’t until college that I started getting into the political and DIY aspects of the scene.

I swear. Use card stock, you can totally chop garlic with it. Great for troubleshooting. Sometimes there just ain’t a knife around! -Credit Card Sandwichcrusty italian bread 1 avocado 1 tomato red onion arugula a few Tbsp. mustard chili sauce -pesto1/2 C. nuts juice of 1 lemon handful of choice of herbs salt to taste 3 or 4 peeled garlic cloves 2-3 Tbsp. olive oil Chop and slice everything using a credit card or similar item. Mix the pesto ingredients together once chopped/minced. Toast the bread if you like then layer with all of these fabulous ingredients.

Thinly sliced smoked tofu salt and pepper 1/4 C. lemon juice chili powder sundried tomatoes 1/2 C. pecans 2 peeled garlic cloves 1/2 C. sliced red onion 2 Tsp. olive oil 1/2 C. basil leaves Blend pecans, olive oil, basil, garlic, sundried tomatoes, and lemon juice with salt to taste. Layer with the other ingredients in a small metal tray or thick aluminum foil, alternating between veggies and pesto, sprinkling with salt, pepper and chili powder here and there. Wrap tightly in foil, being careful that it’s good and tight and any seams will be on top.
